1,700 Wood Frame with Poured Foundation Walls Welcome Center North Meadows Investment Ltd., a holding company for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, negotiated with us to
fast-track this project in the fall of 2007. They have since contacted us to add a 20-unit hotel to their already beautiful
Conference Center & Hotel Complex.

plane and other vehicles, perform training, and a place to bring customers to showcase their products. Northwest

Hockey Arena
We were selected as the design-builder for this project in 2001. We worked very
hard to develop many different options, budgets and value engineering proposals for the association to choose from. Our design
fit the necessity for high quality materials and the systems required for the harsh environment and very tight
budget. When the design was finalized, the project was built in phases to allow the association to pay as they raised the
funds. The project design used masonry interior and exterior walls for the locker rooms and concession areas. Pre-cast planks
were installed over the concession area for a future raised viewing area. The main hockey arena is a 120' clear span
with fully insulated walls and ceilings. The exterior building walls are 2" thermal wall panel for durability and outstanding
appearance. The project was completed successfully within budget and schedule.

This project was awarded on a multi-bid design-build basis. We were instrumental in bringing
the project cost into the township's budget. The chairman of the building committee quoted "if it were not for you (NWB)
and your efforts to work with us on making this a reality, I'm not sure it would have ever happened." The structure is
Butler pre-engineered steel with a MR24 roof and SHADOWAL panels. The design needed to be simple and provide years of
maintenance-free service.

Northwest Builders, Inc., was contacted to be the design-build contractor for this new town shop building. Because
of state laws, the project had to be bid out to the public. Northwest Builders, Inc., worked with the township to develop
a plan to find an architect to put the project out for bids. We were the successful low bidder and were able to build the
new town shop.
