Kohel Power Equipment, Inc. Rice Lake, Tilden, Eau Claire, WI 28,000
Tilden Pre-Engineered Steel & Masonry Retail Sales and Service We have designed and built all of Kohel's
facilities including their most recent in Tilden, WI. The Tilden facility is a pre-engineered steel structure with a 22,000
s.f. main floor and a 6,000 s.f. pre-cast mezzanine. The roof system is concealed fastened standing seam over 4" of poly
iso insulation. The walls are 3" metal span panels. The design of this structure is very open with limited interior columns.
The sales offices are all situated to allow clear views of the sales floor and exterior of the building. The
mechanics' shop design is also very open with columns strategically placed and reinforced to support jib cranes. The Kohel
family has been a very valuable client of Northwest Builders, Inc., since the beginning of our company.

Cenex Convenience Store Rice Lake, WI 5,563 Wood Frame, Masonry & Drivit Convenience
Store The Farmers Union Cooperative brought us on board to design-build the convenience store located at the
intersection of Highways 53 and 48. The design required extensive site work and attention to detail in regards to grading.
We worked very closely with the City of Rice Lake and other state agencies to obtain all permitting required for the project.
The exterior of the building is maintenance-free using a mix of masonry, drivit and metal fascias for durability. The interior
of the structure is also built to last with quarry tile floors, tiled base and walls, plastic laminated casework and
walk-in coolers. We coordinated the design and construction of the fuel systems and canopies on this project. The project
was very successful, completed on budet and within the time constraints allowed.

Sears Rice Lake, WI 9,800 Pre-Engineered Steel Retail Store When the owners of the new Sears store came to Rice Lake, they were looking for a local contractor that could take on the
entire project--site development, design of the building, working with the local authorities to obtain the permitting and
building of their facility--in a timely fashion so they could open as soon as possible. Northwest Builders, Inc., was the
perfect fit for the project. We were able to work with the owners and develop a plan to meet their needs and build their building
on time so they could open for business.

Rice Lake Printery, Inc. Rice Lake, WI 8,128 Pre-Engineered Steel Office & Print Shop We were selected as the design-builder for this project in 2003. We worked very close with
the owner to develop a design that was unique and eye-catching yet cost-effective and fit the neighborhood. During preliminary
design, we discovered that the site had been filled over a number of years and not adequately compacted. Based on the soil
engineering, we removed all of the soils to a depth of approximately 7' below grade and re-compacted. The interior of the
building was designed with two functions - sales office/design (2,240 s.f.) and print production area (5,888 s.f.). The exterior
of the building uses a mixture of metal-span wall panel, brick masonry and drivit (stucco system).
